Travel:

There are two main routes to get to Vlora.

  • You can book a flight to Tirana international airport. From there to
    the city of Vlora is a couple of hours drive. We will arrange to pick
    you up.  There are daily flights to Tirana from London, Milan,
    Rome, Viena, Budapest, Belgrade, Athens, etc.

Notice that London-Tirana is only $220 (both ways) including taxes.

  • You can also arrive by ferry. There are daily ferries from Brindisi in
    southern Italy to Vlora. The trip takes a few hours and is quite
    enjoyable in the summer.  When you go to Brindisi you will see
    travel agencies around the train station or the port area where you
    can buy a ticket for Vlora (or Valona is what Italians call Vlora). The
    ferry leaves at 11:00 PM and arrives to Vlora around 6:00 AM. The
    ticket costs around $80 (both ways).
Hotels:

You are free to book the hotel of your choice. The conference will take
place at  Vlora International Hotel.
